At Manulife, our Affinity Marketing Team is committed to driving growth through strategic customer retention and expansion initiatives. We are seeking a talented Associate Marketing Manager to lead our efforts in retaining existing clients and expanding their engagement with our products and services.
Position Responsibilities:
Develop and oversee comprehensive marketing strategies aimed at customer retention and expansion.
Lead the planning and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, print, direct mail, and events.
Analyze campaign performance data and market trends to inform strategy adjustments and improve ROI.
Informally mentor marketing specialists, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
Collaborate with product, distribution, and customer service teams to ensure a cohesive approach to customer retention and expansion.
Oversee the creation and distribution of engaging content and marketing materials.
Utilize marketing automation, marketing technology, and tools e.g., marketing automation tools to track retention and expansion.Drive continuous improvement through testing, analysis, and optimization of marketing tactics.
Coordinate with external agencies and vendors (e.g., print vendors) to ensure seamless execution of marketing campaigns.
Develop and manage marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.Present campaign results and strategic recommendations to senior management.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
5+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on retention and expansion.
Proven track record of successful marketing campaign management and execution.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in digital marketing platforms and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM systems, marketing automation software).
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Experience with print and direct mail marketing strategies.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset. If the successful candidate is in Québec, proficiency in both languages will be required to support clients from various provinces outside of Quebec.
