Job descriptionEnsure merchandise is displayed appropriately and strategically with proper signage and shelf placement. Build and maintain product displays. Maintain housekeeping standards. Bring issues and discrepancies to the attention of the Detailer or Detailer Supervisor. Comply with company policies and procedures. Follow store safety rules and work in a safe and healthy manner. Job Summary
The Merchandiser is responsible for ensuring that product is merchandised on the shelve in a timely manner, setting up and tearing down displays and clearing any unwanted products from the shelves. The Merchandiser is required to visit different big box retail stores weekly when necessary. Steel-toe shoes are required for this position.
Essential Job Functions
Employees are expected and encouraged to participate in safety and health program activities including immediately reporting hazards, immediately reporting unsafe work practices and incidents to supervisors, wearing required personal protective equipment, and participating in and supporting safety committee activities.
