Korn Ferry has partnered with our client on their search for Account Manager (Retail Tech)

We are looking for an Account Manager to reinforce the Canadian sales presence to help grow the customer base of our company. You will build and close pipeline of Canadian independent SMB (Small to Medium) regional retailers in predefined verticals (Pharmacy) to sell the company’s solutions. To start, the primary focus of this role will be opening new retail verticals.

  • Business Development to create new leads and open new verticals
  • Sign initial pilots and build relationships with buying groups
  • DIY / Pharmacy development market
  • Relationship building / Account management of buying groups, franchisees, or potential partners. Ex. POS (already integrated)
  • Find sales and key partnerships
  • Effectively executes sales activities and maintains a pipeline to generate revenue to meet or exceed sales goals and expectations.
  • Establishes multiple contacts and builds relationships at multiple levels and departments with prospects, developing advocates within a customer’s organization to strengthen relationships.
  • Grow and Manage relationships with Buying Groups in order to; develop marketing initiatives, drive new business, and maintain a successful partnership.
  • Calling campaigns to convert identified leads to opportunities to customers
  • Present online demos describing the company, solution and offering
  • Physical sales meetings for larger customers
  • Participation in trade shows to assist in closing deals
  • Focus on closing deals vs cold calling – developing and signing businesses.

Qualification we’re looking for :

Experience :

  • 2+ years of sales / business development experience
  • Experience working within a start-up and / or ambiguous environment, with proven experience to be adaptable.
  • Full Sales cycle experience.
  • Bilingual – French and English highly preferred
  • Skills :

  • Go-getter mentality with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Abilities :

  • Ability and desire to achieve aggressive deadlines and sales targets.
  • Ability to be flexible to travel requirements : 50% (majority is Domestic travel) including trade shows and client visits.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience with Salesforce is preferred.
  • Creative sales mindset and self-driven.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Experience within a software as a service (SaaS) company.
  • Experience selling into retail environments, focusing on C-Suite clients.
  • Nous embauchons un(e) Directeur(trice) de clientèle pour renforcer notre présence commerciale au Canada et développer notre base de clients. Vous serez responsable de la gestion et de la conclusion d’un pipeline de détaillants indépendants canadiens de type PME (Petites et Moyennes Entreprises) dans des secteurs définis (pharmacies) afin de vendre les solutions de notre entreprise. Au départ, l’objectif principal de ce poste sera l’ouverture de nouveaux secteurs de vente au détail.

    Responsabilités :

  • Développement des affaires pour générer de nouveaux prospects et ouvrir de nouveaux marchés
  • Signature de projets pilotes initiaux et établissement de relations avec des groupes d’achat
  • Développement du marché des pharmacies
  • Gestion des relations et des comptes avec les groupes d’achat, les franchisés ou les partenaires potentiels (ex. fournisseurs de logiciels de point de vente déjà intégrés)
  • Identification et développement de ventes et de partenariats stratégiques
  • Exécution efficace des activités de vente et gestion du pipeline pour générer des revenus et atteindre / excéder les objectifs de vente
  • Établissement de contacts à plusieurs niveaux au sein des entreprises clientes afin de renforcer les relations et de développer des ambassadeurs internes
  • Gestion et développement des relations avec les groupes d’achat pour élaborer des initiatives marketing, générer de nouvelles affaires et maintenir des partenariats fructueux
  • Campagnes d’appels pour convertir des prospects identifiés en opportunités commerciales
  • Présentation de démonstrations en ligne expliquant l’entreprise, la solution et l’offre
  • Rencontres physiques avec les grands comptes
  • Participation à des salons professionnels pour faciliter la conclusion d’affaires
  • Priorité à la conclusion de ventes plutôt qu’à la prospection à froid – développement et signature de nouveaux clients
  • Qualifications recherchées :

    Expérience :

  • Minimum de 4 ans d’expérience en ventes ou développement des affaires
  • Expérience au sein d’une start-up et / ou dans un environnement en constante évolution, avec une capacité démontrée d’adaptation
  • Expérience du cycle de vente complet
  • Compétences :

  • Excellente compréhension du secteur des pharmacies et de la vente aux PME (un atout)
  • Mentalité proactive et excellentes compétences en communication écrite et verbale
  • Aptitudes :

  • Capacité et motivation à atteindre des objectifs de vente ambitieux dans des délais serrés
  • Disponibilité pour des déplacements à hauteur de 50 % (principalement au Canada), incluant les salons professionnels et visites clients
  • Langues : Français et anglais obligatoires
  • Atouts supplémentaires :

  • Expérience avec Salesforce (préférée)
  • Expérience en marketing et / ou collaboration avec une équipe de génération de leads marketing
  • Esprit créatif et autonome en vente
  • Mentalité entrepreneuriale
  • Expérience dans une entreprise de logiciels en tant que service ( SaaS )
  • Expérience en vente dans le secteur du commerce de détail, notamment auprès de la haute direction ( C-Suite )
