Contract Administrator Residential / Commercial
Remote (with travel to Detroit, MI)
Sector : Residential, Commercial, Mixed-Use
On behalf of our client, an established cross-border architecture firm, City Build Recruitment is hiring a Contract Administrator to support a range of mixed-use and residential projects currently under construction in Detroit, Michigan. This position is remote-first but requires the ability to travel to Detroit for site coordination and reviews.
This is an excellent opportunity for an architect or senior intern architect with deep experience in contract administration and construction-phase services.
Responsibilities
Lead contract administration duties, including site reviews, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and reports
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and clients throughout the construction phase
Ensure compliance with design intent, contract documents, and building codes
Resolve construction conflicts in a timely and professional manner
Provide clear communication and documentation throughout the build process
Requirements
Licensed Architect or Intern Architect with CA experience
5+ years of experience with residential and commercial construction
Proven ability to manage CA processes from site review to close-out
Strong knowledge of construction detailing and building systems
Ability and willingness to travel to Detroit, USA for site visits
Must be eligible to work in either the U.S. or Canada
