Location :  Toronto

Job Overview :  We are seeking an experienced High-Rise Construction Finishing Superintendent to oversee our residential development projects in Toronto. As a critical leader on site, the Finishing Superintendent is responsible to ensure the execution of construction operations, schedules, and administering compliance with safety regulations and building codes. Our client is looking for an experienced professional with a strong track record in high-rise residential construction.

Responsibilities :

  • Oversee all aspects of construction for high-rise residential projects as it pertains to closing out the project.
  • Make sure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards and contractual agreements.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and conduct regular site inspections.
  • Manage and maintain daily on-site operations, including scheduling, logistics, and workflow to maximize efficiency and productivity.
  • Teamwork is very important to us, and we are looking for a candidate to have a similar mentality that matches our work environment. Maintain strong relationships among site personnel, including resolving conflicts and ensuring clear communication across all project stages.
  • Be prepared to provide comprehensive reports on project progress and address any deviations from the planned schedule or budget to senior management.

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience as a Finishing Site Superintendent, specifically in high-rise residential construction, with a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles specific to high-rise development.
  • Effective leadership skills with the ability to manage large teams and subcontractors.
  • Strong & In-depth knowledge of Ontario Building Code, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with a sharp focus on details and project specifications.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of maintaining productive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
