Job descriptionPerform maintenance and repair work as well as fault-finding work on mechanical equipment Comply with proper maintenance procedures in accordance with the company maintenance program. Update drawings of mechanical systems whenever changes are made. Responsible for mechanical workshop w / equipment. Observe to uncover any non-compliance and immediately report these to superior. Participate in the emergency preparation organization as per muster list. Responsible for ensuring that all work is done safely and professionally and actively take part in safety meetings and other meetings. Emergency duties according to the units emergency organization. Perform other duties as assigned.

LOCATION : Offshore Newfoundland, Canada
JOB SUMMARY : Rig Mechanic is responsible for monitoring and maintenance of the mechanical equipment.
PRE- REQUISITES / QUALIFICATIONS :
- Marine Diesel Mechanics Certificate or Equivalent Combination of Experience and Training
- 2 years experience as a Rig Mechanic on 6th Generation Ultra-Deepwater Semi-Submersible or similar installation
- Structured and organized mindset
- High level of integrity
- Analytical ability
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Must pass Physical, Drug Screen and Background / Pre-Employment Screening Checks
