Tenure - Full TimeTitle - Line Haul Coordinator / Transportation CoordinatorLocation - Mississauga, ONPay Rate - $24 - $26 / hr.Hours - Afternoon shift -3pm-11pm (candidate must be flexible)Summary : Responsible for planning fleet movements, prioritizing customer loads, ensuring service compliance, and managing fleet utilization and profitability. Supervises customer service personnel, brokerage staff, and fleet managers for regional operations while maintaining alignment with company values and guiding principles.Key Responsibilities : Fleet Planning and Optimization : Match fleet capacity with committed loads to meet service requirements while balancing cost efficiency and repositioning costs. Maximize profitability by utilizing the lowest-cost alternatives.Service Excellence : Ensure timely, accurate, and complete customer service responses for both internal and external customers.Capacity and Revenue Management : Evaluate fleet capacity to accept additional loads, ensuring profitability for extra commitments.Team Oversight : Supervise Fleet Managers to ensure availability, positioning, DOT compliance, and adherence to customer requirements.3rd-Party Carrier Utilization : Identify loads requiring 3rd-party carriers and coordinate with brokerage teams for cost-effective planning.Requirements : Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial understanding, with the ability to prioritize based on multiple criteria.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, web-based applications, and other job-specific software.Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including negotiation, influencing, and formal presentation capabilities.Proven leadership and interpersonal skills, including diplomacy and patience.Experience in departmental administration tasks, including reporting, accounting, and compliance.Strong organizational, time management, decision-making, and collaboration skills.Qualifications : Minimum : High School Diploma or GED with 3-5 years of technical experience, including 2 years in fleet management.Preferred : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
