The Role :
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) Proposal Manager on behalf of our client to develop winning Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Qualification (RFQ) responses for major infrastructure projects. In this role, you will lead and collaborate with technical teams, subject matter experts, and business development leaders to create compelling, high-quality proposals that showcase our client’s expertise and differentiate them from the competition.
Responsibilities :
- Serve as the central point of contact for assigned proposals, leading the proposal team through all phases of development.
- Analyze RFQs, RFPs, and RFIs to develop proposal outlines, schedules, compliance matrices, and strategic development plans.
- Direct proposal kickoffs, facilitates brainstorming sessions, and collaborates with multi-disciplinary teams to craft win themes, value propositions, and differentiated solutions.
- Write and edit compelling proposal content, including management and staffing sections, resumes, project summaries, executive summaries, and cover letters, ensuring a cohesive and persuasive narrative.
- Synthesize raw content from various sources, translating technical jargon into clear, concise messaging while maintaining a consistent voice and highlighting value propositions.
- Work closely with subject matter experts and provide writing guidance to ensure clarity, completeness, and alignment with evaluation criteria and RFP requirements.
- Capture and drive action items from meetings with proposal and capture teams while ensuring timely management reviews and approvals.
- Monitor proposal content for compliance with RFP specifications, technical requirements, and evaluation criteria.
- Maintain and enhance libraries of reusable content, templates, and processes to improve efficiency and proposal quality.
- Conduct quality control reviews to ensure proposals are accurate, complete, and compliant with submission requirements.
- Manage multiple proposal tasks simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines and submission target dates.
- Support process improvements by identifying best practices and lessons learned.
- Other duties as required.
