Job descriptionPerform data entry, reconciliation, and verification of financial transactions. Process journal entries and ensure accounts tie to source documents. Balance bank accounts and review transactions for exceptions. Keep track of all payments and invoices pending for payments, ensuring invoices are paid according to terms. Post bills (contractor, service, etc.) and expenses. Create and send invoices to customers as requested by the PMO. Post received payments and record on commission reports. Utilize accounting software (currently QuickBooks) to create purchase orders (PO) and sales orders (SO). Perform credit card reconciliation and post transactions in QuickBooks. Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and projections. Support the finance team in month-end and year-end closing processes. Assist with daily operations, balance sheet integrity, and reconciliation. Daily : Post bills and expenses, send vendor bills to Inside Sales, record invoices on commission reports, create POs and SOs, and perform credit card reconciliation. Weekly : Report the bank balance to the Manager. Monthly : Perform bank reconciliations. Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing data entry, and supporting various accounting functions to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
