These types of people thrive because they are resourceful and can seek out information on their own to make informed decisions.  Duties / Responsibilities Follow safe work procedures to assist the tower crane operator with lifting, lowering, or moving materials and loads. Understand lifting and load bearing capacities of the tower crane. Securing loads with suitable lifting equipment. Communicate with operator via two-way radio and / or hand signals. Signal and direct trucks on site for loading and offloading. Inspecting rigging equipment. Rig in decks and fly tables. Inspect crane and calculate capacities Fly tables  Assemble and dismantle Perform repairs and maintenance Working Conditions Overtime after 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week Double time after 12 hours per day Overtime and work on weekends as required Two paid 15 minutes breaks and one ½ hour unpaid lunch break per day Working at heights Competencies Ability to work well in a team and independently Positive attitude towards safety Punctual and reliable Self-motivated Manual dexterity, mechanically inclined, physically fit Requirements 2-4 years of tower crane rigging experience Journeyman Tower Crane Operator Certificate or provincial equivalent is a plus Rigging ticket considered an asset Fall Protection  Applications will only be considered from those eligible to work in Canada Thank you for your interest in joining our team.
