The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for the quality assurance of applications. His main role is to design, write, implement and execute the various tests (unit, functional, automated) that will validate the quality and proper functioning of an application. In addition, his role aims to set up and maintain automated testing solutions for the various teams including ALM / UFT.

Main Responsibilities

• Maintain and update testing tools including ALM / UFT and work on the analysis of new growing needs and the different tools on the market
• Coordinate testing activities
• Support members of the quality and development team
• Target, enter, analyze and interpret the information and data needed to support the testing phases, implementation strategies, the various quality assurance tests, the decision-making process and the processes for controlling the application of current management policies and practices
• Review and approve the detailed quality and testing strategies of the targeted application teams
• Develop or perform the technical review of cases and test scripts
• Participate in quality review meetings
• Prepare the system testing schedule with the application teams, business teams and suppliers
• Coordinate the preparation of the test execution context (environments, data), in collaboration with the various teams involved
• Monitor the test results with the application teams involved
• Support other specialists in defining the different scopes (stories, release, sprint, project, tests)
• Collaborate in managing project anomalies
• Analyze risks. Write various reports, propose solutions, make recommendations and provide advisory support in the implementation of these recommendations
• Prepare and recommend action plans likely to promote the correction of situations encountered, in accordance with generally recognized guidelines and rules
