Job description2 years working in a fast paced production / manufacturing environment Knowledge of ISO Quality Management Systems Knowledge of calibration requirements / procedures Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) First Article Inspection Reporting / PPAP-PSW Submissions Proficiency with Microsoft Office software suite Understanding of effective sampling (AQL, RQL) Internal Auditing experience Ability to stand for long periods of time Can push, pull, or lift a minimum of 35lbs
We are looking for an intermediate QC inspector for our metal manufacturing client in Concord, ON.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
- Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and other common instruments
- Basic ability to read and interpret blueprints / drawings and specifications
- Inspect parts to an established inspection test plan or sampling lot
- Identify and report non-conformances using documented procedures
- Knowledge of common mathematical concepts
- Knowledge and understanding of basic quality terms, definitions and concepts
- Basic understanding of measurement / metrology terminology and applications
- Basic computer literacy
