Job Summary
The Team
The team at Product Distribution Centre is a well-rounded supply chain operation that plays a critical role in delivering medical supplies and services to support medically fragile children and adults across BC, including First Nations and rural communities. With over 70 employees across four departments, the team is diverse, highly cohesive, and passionate about their work. The team values every individual's contribution, from administrative clerks to management, ensuring that every role is vital in improving the lives of those who rely on these essential services.
The Role
As the Quality Assurance Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Health Canada licenses, managing processes and collaborating with other departments on training, process improvement, and data integrity. Your work directly impacts the customer experience, ensuring that citizens-especially medically fragile children and adults-receive the highest quality service and products. This unique role offers a rare opportunity within the public sector to contribute to life-changing programs across BC while also focusing on quality standards, continuous improvement, and growth in the supply chain field. Qualifications :
Education and Experience Requirements
- Diploma in Science, Communications, Public Administration, Business Administration / Commerce, or related field and one (1) year of
- related experience; OR
- Quality related designation through an industry recognized certification program, and two (2) years of
- related experience; OR
- Three (3) years of
- related experience.
- Related experience must include a combination of all the following :
- Experience in a Health Canada regulatory environment.
- Experience in Pharmaceutical, Health and Medical environment.
- Experience in methodologies of Quality Assurance and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Experience creatively and innovatively addressing client expectations and customer service challenges.
- Experience within project environments, planning and managing project outcomes to improve business processes, meet operational objectives and achieve results.
