Tasks

Design, develop, and maintain reliable, secure, and high-performing applications.
Participate in system improvements, integrations, and the development of new solutions.
Analyze business needs and translate them into practical technical solutions.
Collaborate with internal teams to optimize and automate processes.
Identify and resolve complex technical issues in a production environment.
Contribute to system architecture and technology selection.
Implement and maintain development best practices and proper documentation.
Conduct code reviews and support less experienced developers.
Ensure system performance, data integrity, and overall quality of deliverables.
Maintain and enhance integrations between internal systems and third-party applications.

Job requirements

Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
3 to 5 years of relevant experience in software development and systems analysis.
Proven experience participating in or delivering large-scale technology projects.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft environments and technologies such as .NET, VB, ASP (C# is an asset).
Experience with relational databases and data processing (SQL, ETL).
Understanding of application architectures, APIs, and system integrations.
Fluency in both French and an advanced English is required to collaborate with teams outside Quebec (approximately 50% in English).
Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI (an asset).
Experience in operations, logistics, or distribution environments (an asset).
