Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare (MAHC) is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Purchasing Clerk to join our team. As a Purchasing Clerk, you will be responsible for assisting in the procurement of goods and services, managing purchase orders, and ensuring that the organization’s supply chain needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
What will I need to join the team?
Secondary School diploma.
- Certificate in recognized purchasing / materials management course or equivalent experience
- Minimum of one year experience in shipping, receiving and inventory control
- Basic computer, clerical and organizational skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Familiar with inventory management software applications
- On a regular basis, this position involves heavy lifting up to 50 lbs and p ushing carts up to 1500 lbs
Where will I be working ?
MAHC has two locations to meet Muskoka’s healthcare needs. You could find yourself working at South Muskoka Memorial Hospital (SMMH) located in Bracebridge, Huntsville District Memorial Hospital (HDMH) located in Huntsville, or both!
Applicants must reside within 125km of one of our hospital campuses or be willing to relocate prior to starting.
What shifts will I work?
Monday - Friday 8 : 00 am - 4 : 00 pm. Shifts and hours may change according to departmental requirements per the collective agreement.
