Senior Specialist, Communications & Public Relations
Salary : $86,778 - $102,091 - $117,405 per year (pay range explained below)
Contract : Permanent
Hours : Fulltime - Core hours - Mon-Fri 9am-3pm
Location : Park Royal office – on the ancestral Coast Salish Territories of the Squamish, Musqueam & Tsleil-Wuatuth Nations. Hybrid working is an option, in line with FNHA’s flex work policy.

About the role
As the Senior Specialist, Communications and Public Relations (Shared Secretariat), you will provide specialized expertise in the area of external communications and public relations. You will oversee content creation and logistics for key internal meetings, leadership meetings, and related meetings and events. You will provide guidance, advice, and oversight to the administration team regarding the development and maintenance of communication materials. Additionally, you will support decision-making by providing strategic communication advice to the Executive Director.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have :
- University degree in Communications or a related field, plus 4 to 6 years significant, recent, and relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience working with First Nations politicians, leadership and communities.
