Insurance Reinsurance Manager Role Overview
This role offers a chance to lead a reinsurance accounting team and work closely with various departments in finance to ensure accurate and timely reporting. The successful candidate will have experience in property and casualty insurance operations, accounting, and regulatory reporting.
Key responsibilities include ensuring the team is properly trained and supported, leading projects on special technical accounting issues, and preparing reinsurance schedules for P&C-1 reporting. Additionally, this role requires strong leadership skills, excellent analytical and Excel capabilities, and proficiency in IFRS standards.
The ideal candidate should hold an Accounting / Finance-related University Degree, possess a CPA designation, and have experience as an audit firm. Strong technical and analytical skills are essential, along with proficiency in Excel and knowledge of IFRS 17.
