Duties
One (1) position to be filled within Portfolio Management Division located in Victoria (British-Columbia) and a pool to be created for future vacancies. This position is responsible for overseeing the real property and environment activities, including facility and workplace service management at selected facilities. The incumbent will lead client relationships in the region, providing key strategic advice, and integrating direction from senior management. The position will have managerial responsibilities.

The Real Property and Environment Branch (RPEB) is a dynamic and forward-looking corporate services organization that aims to ensure that NRCan has optimal real property assets that enable the delivery of world class science programs while balancing sustainability and affordability. To respond to the Horizontal Fixed Asset Review, RPEB has embarked on an ambitious change agenda that involves leading NRCan through significant real property transformation as well as modernizing business practices, processes and systems. The organization is well connected to the Real Property Institute of Canada and works collaboratively with other government departments to share best practices, work collaboratively and problem solve together.
