We’re seeking qualified Dietary Aides to join our kitchen team at Coastal Breeze Village in Powell River, BC . If you are an enthusiastic team player with a passion for providing high-quality care and support for seniors, we would love to hear from you!
Duties will include, but are not limited to :
- Portioning and serving food and beverages in the dining room, and managing supplies.
- Loading hot wagons and delivering food to resident neighborhoods.
- Stocking resident kitchens with items such as paper products, snacks, beverages, and staple goods.
- Preparing tables in dining areas before mealtimes with napkins, placemats, utensils, condiments, and beverages.
- Preparing beverages and simple food items like tea, coffee, toast, sandwiches, and salads.
- Assisting the Chef with meal portioning and service during special and catered events.
- Performing cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces and equipment.
- Handling clerical duties such as answering phones and documenting on menu cards.
