When you join our engineering team, your role will be to develop and manage electrical projects : from identifying needs to implementation. Not only that, but you'll also be able to put your technical knowledge to good use, as your role will include a large automation and programming component.
Reporting to the Engineering & Maintenance Manager, your main duties will be to :
Take charge of, supervise and manage all stages of projects, from design to commissioning
Plan projects and manpower (planning was previously done by another position holder)
Act as a technical leader and establish project needs and costs during committees with requestors
Manage internal and external labor on projects Maintain building and machinery
Support the rest of the maintenance team, production and ITDesign and draw electrical plans using software such as AutoCAD Electrical
Design electrical controls
Maintain Guide Ti maintenance management software
Program programmable logic controllers (PLC) and human-machine interfaces (HMI)
Manipulate and analyze data using SQL computer language
Analyze safety risks, carry out trials, investigate the cause of electrical faults and provide occupational health and safety support
