Are you an experienced Project Manager with a strong background with Enterprise Rescource Management projects? Do you have experience with ERP project lifecycle and Business Analysis experience for ERP projects?
We are looking for an IT Project Manager for an initial contract until August, 2025! This position is based in Burnaby and requires working hybrid on-site (3 days / week)

Responsibilities
1. Building business cases to support ERP implementations or upgrades.
2. Participating in Contract negotiation and SOW development.
3. Building the evaluation criteria and costing model for project initiatives.
4. Develop project charter and a plan for execution, including all other project documentation.
5. Oversight of project team to ensure delivery of the stated project goals and objectives against the established measurement criteria; coordinating and managing team resource allocation, managing deliverables and schedules of project team members to ensure timely and quality delivery of project commitments
6.Chair Project Steering Committee (PSC), working group and subcommittee(s) (as required) : preparing materials; sending out agendas, minutes etc. and facilitating discussions
7. Document and report on project level issues, decisions, dependencies and risks, facilitate resolution and escalation
8. Manage, plan and control cost, schedule, scope and create change requests and assess impact of proposed changes
9. Address challenges, including organizational, vendor, technical, documentation, budget logistics

Qualifications
Over 10 years of experience managing ERP implementation and upgrade projects, preferably with SAP.
Experience with developing business cases for ERP replacement, upgrades and transformations.
Experience with ERP transformation lifecycle.
Experience with developing cost benefit analysis and business cases for strategic ERP initiatives and developing total cost of ownership is essential.
Proficient in creating definition around the technology vision and the desired future state for the ERP platform.
Talented, with 10 plus years of experience in developing data models, technical architectures, and business process transformations.
Previous experience as a Senior Program, Delivery or Project Manager of major ERP
Proven expertise in managing large enterprise scale teams in a IT project management role
Experience with municipal SaaS ERPs, especially with SAP or other large ERP vendors would be preferrable.
