Job Description
SUMMARY
The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical components, machinery, and equipment using applied knowledge of engineering principles. This may include fabricating, operating, installing, or repairing, and designing products such as motors, instruments, control panels, and other machines. Other engineering and mechanical maintenance functions will fall under the direction of the Engineer on a project-by-project basis.
PRIMARY FUNCTION
- Specialize in energy systems, applied mechanics, machine design, manufacturing, plant engineering, and maintenance
- Develop and maintain product specific process designs
- Design, create, and repair machines and mechanical systems of all kinds
- Develop, assemble, and install mechanical equipment, systems, and parts
- Maintain or improve production processes by evaluating, testing and resolving product line issues in order to ensure overall efficiency and produce quality products
- Develop & Maintain a more comprehensive maintenance program, including preventative maintenance
- Diagnose, repair, test, monitor and maintain production machinery and equipment
- To be a part of a manufacturing team that will move the facility to new heights by leading creative projects
