Key position functions include :

• Performs diverse engineering activities involving product evolution and design.
• Assist with the research and development of products and projects.
• Assist with redesigning products for improved cost effectiveness and service.
• Identify and recommend processes for design improvement and innovation.
• Review product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, industry standards, customer requirements and related specifications.
• Provide design calculations as necessary.
• Provide engineering support for manufacturing, field service, sales and customer service.
• Interface with various departments on purchased and manufactured items.
• In coordination with the quality department, troubleshoot quality issues as they pertain to warrantee issues and material or manufacturing flaws (NCIR's).
• Prepare detailed drawings of parts and assemblies.
• Prepare design documentation and create Bills of Material.
• Prepare product installation and maintenance procedures.
• Review industry literature to stay aware of product and technology developments.
• Develop knowledge and understanding of order processing, equipment design, work order creation, manufacturing and shipping.
• Develop knowledge and understanding of API 6A specifications.
• Develop knowledge and understanding of Stream-Flo's Safety Systems product line.
