At Pattison Agriculture we seek talent ready to GROW, CONNECT AND EVOLVE with us! We are looking for a General Manager to join our fast-paced, energetic company, ideally working from our Yorkton, SK office.
As GM of Region 4 (Yorkton, Balcarres, Moosomin, Russell), you will be part of the future of agriculture and play an essential role in developing and supporting the business growth plans and leadership for the region and organization. In one of Canada’s top John Deere dealer organizations, you will deliver quality work in a friendly and collaborative environment that encourages learning and growth.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership in the areas of physical assets, employees, business processes, and financial resources.
- Coach and develop Branch Managers in your assigned region, who are responsible for ensuring that all departments are working together to achieve our goals.
- Develop and execute the organization’s business and marketing plans.
- Lead dealership operations, development, and implementation of sound business practices and processes.
- Guide the management team in making business decisions.
- Oversee the evaluation, allocation, and management of physical assets, employment decisions, and financial resources to fulfill the stakeholders’ expectations.
- Set the financial direction for the organization utilizing annual budgets and ensure financial stability through audits and internal controls.
- Ensure the dealership’s reputation and image in the community is consistent with the organization’s values, vision, and mission.
- Lead and manage ongoing relationships with key John Deere personnel and other suppliers.
- Manage in cooperation with Human Capital recruiting, staffing, and employee development activities for employees reporting to this position.
