Job descriptionA proactive, solution-focused approach to managing purchasing and replenishment. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities at once. Clear, professional communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong supplier relationships. Attention to detail and accuracy in tracking, analyzing, and maintaining system data. Diploma in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 2–3 years of relevant experience in procurement or purchasing. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel) and ERP systems. Strong SAP skills are a significant asset. Knowledge of inventory management systems and purchasing software. Bilingual in French and English (spoken and written), required for collaboration with our U.S. facility. Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and perform effectively under pressure. We are currently seeking a Procurement Agent who will play a central role in keeping our operations running smoothly. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will be at the heart of managing purchases and replenishments : maintaining rigorous supplier follow-ups, optimizing inventory levels, and directly contributing to an uninterrupted production flow, all while upholding our high standards for quality, cost, and lead times.
What You’ll Do
- Place purchase orders and follow up to ensure they are completed accurately.
- Track deliveries, confirm receipt of goods, and address any issues such as delays or delivery errors.
- Keep supplier information up to date, including pricing, lead times, contracts, and historical data.
- Work closely with production, planning, logistics, and quality teams to anticipate needs and prevent stock shortages.
- Analyze inventory levels and recommend adjustments to optimize purchasing.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to make procurement processes more efficient.
- Ensure all purchasing activities comply with internal policies and legal requirements.
