Exciting opportunity in Toronto for a candidate to be able to accomplish several tasks daily with tight deadlines. He / she must possess proven multi-tasking abilities be punctual and very personable; outgoing and customer service focused.
What is in it for you :
Hourly salary of $20.06
12-month contract with the potential for permanent employment.
Full-time position : 37.50 hours per week.
On-site work in a dynamic environment.
Monday to Friday 8 am to 4 : 30 pm
Responsibilities :
Load and unload packages by hand or skid using material-handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
Place orders via an Oracle procurement system
Provide customers with quotes from approved vendors
Quality check incoming orders
Complete end to end buying process monitor orders placed follow up on approval process and complete receipting
Respond to vendors inquiries
Work with Marsh & McLennan s Procurement team on any supplier issues
Other tasks as assigned - office supply stocking and backfill of other roles
What you will need to succeed :
Strong computer and software skills
Willingness to learn and be part of a team
Ability to adapt and learn new procedures
Communication - written & oral. High volume of customer & supplier email communication
Customer service
Organization and attention to detail
Strong finance and math ability
Experience with PO creation or processing of invoices
