Job Summary :
A Drywaller / Finisher plays a crucial role in the repair process of a job. They will assist with restoring damaged structures to their former glory and focus on repairing and finishing drywall surfaces to create a smooth and visually appealing finish. Your enthusiasm, passion for craftsmanship, and attention to detail will contribute to the success of our projects and achieving client satisfaction. Responsibilities :
- Efficiently measure, cut, and install drywall sheets in damaged areas.
- Performing drywall repairs, patching holes, cracks, or water-damaged sections with speed and precision.
- Apply joint compound, skillfully filling in seams, joints, and nail / screw indentations.
- Able to achieve a level 5 drywall finish.
- Embedding and smoothing tape over joints to reinforce and blend them into surrounding drywall.
- Feathering out the joints to achieve a smooth and clean finish.
- Remove imperfections through sanding, scraping, and feathering to ensure a flawless appearance.
- Performing texture matching to repair or replace drywall surfaces.
- Spraying, rolling, and applying different texture compounds.
- Blending texture to achieve a seamless match of surrounding surfaces.
- Preparing surfaces by cleaning and dusting, along with properly protecting the site from further damage when performing work.
- Cleaning, dusting, and priming to ensure proper adhesion of paint or other finishes.
- Sealing any water or moisture-related issues to prevent future damage.
- Inspecting and repairing framing, studs, or other structural components before installing drywall.
- Coordinating with project managers, contractors, and other internal team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects.
- Communicating any issues, challenges, or changes to the project scope.
- Providing input on material selection, quantities, and other project-related decisions.
- Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines always, using appropriate PPE.
- Providing excellent customer service to homeowners and other internal / external stakeholders.
- Maintaining an organized and clean work van.
- Collecting and disposing of any debris that may be on site.
- Assisting with other aspects of the repair process, such as painting and minor carpentry work.

Compensation
Wage : $27.00 - $38.00 per hour (based on experience)
