Agilus is recruiting for a Team Lead - Jet Fuels, Operations in the energy transportation industry in Richmond, British Columbia.
Our client is a leading energy transportation and midstream service provider operating across North America. This is a Foreman-level position for their jet fuel pipeline. Reporting to the Supervisor, Transmission Business Unit operations group, this position is accountable to lead day to day operations and maintenance activities, work with internal and external stakeholders, and deliver on the company's operational systems. The infrastructure under the care of the Team Lead includes pump stations, pipelines, valve sites, and tankage at the Vancouver airport terminal.
Accountabilities :
- As part of the operations team, support and carry out routine pipeline operations and maintenance tasks, including but not limited to One-Call response (locating and marking buried infrastructure, overseeing activities in proximity to our pipeline), review of aerial patrols, product sampling, and troubleshooting, repair of pump stations, block valves, electrical, and mechanical equipment
- Deliver on the operational aspects of the Emergency Management Program, including leadership and participation in emergency response planning and exercises
- Ensure procedures and job execution plans are developed and maintained to cover the scope of work
- Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals, and monitor compliance to the daily / weekly scheduling business processes to effectively respond to changing resource and equipment availability
- Develop and manage the operational budget
- Ensure adequate operations and technical input is provided for the planning and execution of work and projects, and that the MOC process is followed
- Participation in corporate initiatives, such as working groups, best practice development and sharing, change management for transformation projects
- Ensure positive community and stakeholder relations
