Job descriptionMust be legally entitled to work in Canada. Ability to remain alert while on duty. Ability to work in a range of weather conditions throughout shift. Possess or be willing to obtain a valid BC security worker's license. Be comfortable using computers. Fluent in the English language - written, verbal and reading skills. Have a positive attitude with a professional demeanour. Have excellent attention to complete incident report writing. Have excellent problem-solving skills. Location : Various Sites (including Western Forest Products Mills)
Wage : $20.50 / hr - $21.75hr
Shift Times : Various shifts
Reports to : Client Service Manager
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide superior customer service to clients and the general public.
- Provide access control and security patrols as needed.
- Proactively respond to and resolve emergency situations and conflicts.
- Complete evacuation and emergency response procedures when necessary.
- Using mobile phones and basic computer programs.
- Communicate problems or concerns to the site supervisor.
- Possess excellent multi-tasking, problem-solving, prioritizing and organizational abilities.
- Know occupational health and safety regulations – training provided.
- Perform all duties with high safety standards.
