Job Description : Role Summary :

We are seeking an exceptional Principal Software Engineer to serve as a technical lead for our Contact Centre Innovation and Engineering Practices team. This role will be instrumental in driving innovation, implementing cloud capabilities, and spearheading technical solutions across our contact centres in Canada, Asia, and the US.

What will you do :

• Lead the design, architecture, and development of complex cloud-based applications and systems
• Provide technical leadership and coaching to development teams
• Conduct code reviews and ensure best practices are applied in software development
• Design complex solutions integrated with AI / ML technologies
• Run workshops with developers and participate in hands-on development work
• Research and pilot the latest technologies and practices, and evaluate benefits for our organization
• Translate business and technical requirements into comprehensive system designs
• Champion a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance. Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
