The Certified Metering Mechanic is located in the Greater Toronto Area and typically reports directly to the Engineering Manager. Their primary focus is utility submeter replacement, commissioning, verification. This is a part-time position. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Complete verification inspection of electrical submetering systems
- Submeter commissioning, verification and related trouble-shooting on submeter replacement projects
- Equipment inventory, delivery, and return materials authorization
- Verification of project design and configuration equipment ordering
- Provide mentorship to Junior staff on removal, installation and commissioning of submetering systems
- Travel within the Greater Toronto Area for project execution
