Job Title : Dispatch / Routing Supervisor
Location : Vaughan, ON
We have an immediate opening for a dispatcher who knows the Greater Toronto Area. This is a fantastic organization to continue your career with lots of room for growth. If you are familiar with the Toronto area, have at least 3 years of hands-on dispatch experience working directly with drivers, and experience using routing software, this may be just the opportunity you’re looking for!
In this role, you will accountable for routing and dispatching 15-20 city drivers making multiple stops throughout southern Ontario. The focus of this role is to create efficient routes and dispatch the driver team, dealing with employee issues as they arise. Experience with TMS / routing software is required.
POSITION DESCRIPTION :
- Supervise and direct the activities of drivers.
- Plan daily routes which include multi-stop deliveries and back haul shipments.
- Hold drivers accountable to meet company expectations initiatives.
- Communicate with customers any delays or issues proactively.
QUALIFICATIONS :
SALARY RANGE : $65,000 - $75,000 range (commensurate with experience) plus bonus opportunity and benefits.
