Job descriptionSpecializing in Tungsten Inert Gas arc welding (GTAW) (TIG). Operate manual TIG welding equipment & setup.. Tack and Fit assemblies independently. Ability to read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes, examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and / or specifications. Custom fabrication, Machinery or equipment repair, Stainless Steel welding, Gas Welding Machine. Types of Materials : Stainless Steel, Mild Steel, & Aluminum alloys in light gauges Ability to work in a fast paced environment, maintain strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and standing for long periods. Ability to lift upwards of 50lbs.
We are seeking a skilled Tig Welder to join our client team in Pickering, ON. As a Tig Welder, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components according to specifications. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.
Location : Pickering, ON.
Industry : Metal Fabrication.
Pay rate : $20.00-$29.00 per hour.
Shift : Afternoon- 3pm to 11pm.
Experience : 5 years.

Requirements
- Perform Tig welding on various metal components
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine welding requirements
- Set up and operate welding equipment, including power tools, hand tools, and press brake machines
- Inspect welds for accuracy and quality
- Use calipers and other measuring instruments to ensure precise measurements
- Assist with rigging and moving materials using forklifts and other equipment
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and meet production goals
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
