Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will support prescription processing, OTC inquiries, workflow efficiency, and customer care in a fast-paced community pharmacy environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in prescription entry, filling, labelling, and packaging
- Provide excellent customer service and patient support at the counter and phone
- Manage OTC product inquiries and guide patients to suitable options
- Prepare prescriptions under pharmacist supervision, including compounded products (training provided)
- Assist with third-party insurance billing and claim resolutions
- Maintain inventory, stock shelves, and receive orders
- Ensure pharmacy cleanliness, organization, and adherence to standards
- Support pharmacist in day-to-day pharmacy operations
