Duties and Responsibilities :
Implement daily operational plans, ensuring adherence to safety, health, environmental, and security standards. Maintain high standards of housekeeping.
Actively participate in daily toolbox talks and regular safety meetings to ensure workplace safety and compliance.
Continuously monitor the condition of wells and equipment to identify necessary corrective actions that improve reliability and efficiency.
Perform routine maintenance as an Equipment Care Technician, addressing simple mechanical issues to prevent equipment failure.
Report any malfunctions in alarm, emergency, or shutdown systems immediately. Participate actively in emergency response drills and real events.
Provide comprehensive and accurate shift handover details to ensure seamless continuity in operations.
Oversee and coordinate maintenance tasks based on scheduled plans, including corrective, predictive, and preventive measures.
Collect samples for laboratory analysis and conduct necessary field tests to maintain product quality standards.
Provide essential data on well problems and production rates, ensuring comprehensive diagnostics are performed before escalating to Well Work intervention.
Confirm that wellhead and surface equipment are in optimal condition before and after Well Work interventions.
Requirements and Qualifications :
Successful completion of secondary education or technical training in a related field is mandatory.
Prior experience as a Field Technician or Operator is essential for this role.
Proficiency in pipeline operations, safety / operations management tools, and processes.
Familiarity with Emergency Preparedness Procedures, Design Specifications, and relevant regulations.
Knowledgeable of relevant commercial agreements.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills are necessary.
Demonstrated commitment to maintaining high standards in Safety, Health, and Environment practices.
Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
