Position : Quality Control Technician

Location : Toronto, ON

Salary : $21 per hour

Industry : Manufacturing / Quality Control / Food / QC

Employment Term : Full Time / Temp - to - Perm

Shift : Days, Afternoons, Nights, and / or Weekends

Roles & Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for product Quality Control checks and lab testing functions.
  • Perform administrative duties as record keeping, data entry, filing, among others.
  • Raw material and packaging verification.
  • Additional related QC duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience :

  • Post-secondary education in Food Science, Quality, or a related field.
  • 1 – 3 years related QC experience, ideally in the food manufacturing experience.
  • Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, GFSI, FSMA, CFIA, FDA food regulations.
  • Able to report afternoons, nights, or weekends shift as needed.
  • Strong communication skills – verbal and written.
