- This full-time, permanent position will start ASAP andwork primarily at our head office on Baker Street in beautifulNelson, BC.
- Festival Site Work : The successful candidates will also be required to work on-site at the festival locationnear Salmo, BC for about 1 month each July.
Bookkeepers work tomaintain organized records of invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.
Roles and Responsibilities :
Record day-to-day financial transactions using accounting software.
Assist in reconciling bank statements and other financial accounts.
Manage accounts payable by processing invoices, preparing payments, and tracking expenses.
Support payroll processing by ensuring employee records are up to date.
Prepare basic financial summaries or reports as instructed.
Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent (required).
Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Quickbooks, Xero, Sage) or willingness to learn.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Clear and professional communication, both written and verbal.
