Responsibilities :
Process payroll data in the payroll system, ensuring accuracy in employee records and payroll settings.
Input and verify timecard data for accurate payroll calculations.
Ensure payroll processing complies with company policies and applicable regulations.
Review and correct payroll data to ensure accuracy.
Respond to general payroll inquiries and provide assistance with payroll-related matters.
Prepare and submit required remittances, including deductions and contributions.
Assist with year-end payroll tasks and reconciliation, including T4's
Perform other payroll-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
3+ years of full cycle payroll experience in a unionized environment
Multi province experience considered an asset
Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
