We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Patient Support Specialist to join our dynamic call center team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, assisting with inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional support for their healthcare needs. Responsibilities
Respond to patient inquiries via phone, email, or chat with professionalism and empathy.
Assist patients with medication delivery, reimbursement processes, and navigating healthcare programs.
Provide accurate and timely information about services, insurance coverage, and product availability.
Document patient interactions and maintain detailed records in compliance with confidentiality and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with internal teams, including case managers, pharmacists, and program coordinators, to resolve patient concerns.
Educate patients on healthcare services, support resources, and eligibility requirements.
Qualifications
- Education : High school diploma or equivalent (required); associate or bachelor’s degree in healthcare or a related field (preferred).
- Experience : 1-2 years in a call center, customer service, or healthcare environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and navigate multiple software platforms simultaneously.
- Problem-solving mindset and a patient-centric approach.
- Bilingual abilities (preferred but not required).
- Technical : Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM systems or healthcare management software.
