Mainland Ford, a part of Trotman Auto Group, iscurrently seeking an experienced Full-time Parts Advisor to join theirteam.

About the Role :

The Parts Advisor is responsible for providing excellentcustomer service to all Parts clients, as well as the efficient and profitableordering, stocking and sale of automotive parts.

Schedule : Full-Time

Compensation :  $50,000-$80,000 / yr

Who You Are :

• Minimum 1 - 2 years of recent experience as anAutomotive Parts Advisor
• Ford experience is an asset, but not a must
• Experience with truck accessories andmodifications is an asset
• Ability to effectively respond to and meet theneeds of a diverse client base
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. on aregular basis
• Ability to be on your feet for long periods oftime
• Valid Class 5 driver's license with a cleandriver's abstract
• Ability to work efficiently and effectivelyunder pressure with simultaneous deadlines
• Must be able to communicate (written and verbal)in English fluently
• Excellent interpersonal andrelationship-building skills

What Your Day Will Look Like :

• Efficiently assist customers (internal andexternal) with the highest level of service in order to grow sales within thedepartment
• Articulate parts accessories and specialsavailable to customers
• Maintain the highest Customer Service Indexrating from customers by handling all Parts customer discrepancies immediatelyand according to dealership policy
• Assist in growing sales within the Servicedepartment by providing labour estimates when handling parts sales
• Interact with Service and Sales department toensure smooth delivery of parts
• Receive payment from retail customers whennecessary
• Stock parts inventory and maintain an organizedwarehouse environment
• Keeping up to date on manufacturer warranty andpolicy procedures while serving as a liaison with factory representatives
• Assist Parts department in routine inventorycounts
• Assist in housekeeping of the Parts department
• Remain abreast on product knowledge and markettrends
• Communicate effectively with (internal andexternal) customers, Parts staff and management to report any delays regardingparts deliveries
