Location: Mont-Royal, Quebec
Timings: AM - PM or AM - PM
Duration: Months (Looking to Convert to FTE)
Travel: Up to % (Montreal region to Chicago). Role Overview:
- Primary Focus: Equipment implementation (not method development or training).
- Current Technologies: Mojani Fat, Mojani Moisture, Vacuum Oven.
- New Technology: Near Infrared Spectroscopy (NIR) to replace current methods.
- Troubleshooting: Intermediate to strong level required; will involve collaboration with IT and analytical chemists.
- Work Style: Collaborative (not independent project leadership).
- Team Structure: Approx. people (lab crew, supervisor, quality team, operations leads, technicians).
- Languages: Must be proficient in French and English (verbal and written).
- Work Environment: On-site at Mount Royal facility (no remote work).
- Working Hours: Monday–Friday, flexible ( AM– PM or AM– PM); occasional weekend work possible on-site.
- Travel: Up to % (Montreal region to Chicago).
- Ability to work independently within provided guidelines.
- Comfort and proficiency in computer systems (Microsoft environment and technical applications).
- Comfort in an analytical laboratory environment.
- Assignment Duration: months (potential extension or conversion to full-time).
- Travel Expenses: Billable to Food and Beverage Client via Fieldglass (airfare, hotel, car rental, etc.).
- Reporting: Weekly meetings with hiring manager; – times/week with local factory team.
