Job description

Our Mission :

Auger Hollingsworth Accident & Injury Lawyers want to hire an experienced Licensed Paralegal or Lawyer to meet with and interview all new potential firm clients.

Ideal for a new lawyer or an experienced lawyer who wants a break from the demands of a full-time private litigation practice.

This is one of the most important roles in the Firm! You will be the first point of contact for potential clients and visitors, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth intake process.

You must have outstanding professional and compassionate communication skills and the ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Previous sales and closing experience in a professional services setting is ideal.

You must have at least 1 year of experience working in a law firm. You must be bilingual (English and French)

Ideally, the candidate would live in the GTA, Ottawa or Kingston. However, for the right A Player, they can live anywhere in Ontario if they are willing to do some travel to Toronto and Ottawa. We are offering 100% remote, hybrid or in-office for top candidates.

Outcomes / Deliverables :

Act as the first impression of the firm to meet with and interview new client prospects

2.Conduct thorough initial client interviews

3.Assess and decide if new client prospect meets firm criteria and whether or not to accept the new client

4.Maintain a weekly target of new clients that the firm will accept and onboard

5.Must be able to obtain all relevant facts in order to determine if the new case meets our firm new case requirements

6.Collaborate with all other firm lawyers and firm owners on new client intakes

7.Meet with clients and help them complete preliminary documentation such as Accident Benefit Forms as well as assist them with evidence preservation.

8.Be continually engaged in process efficiency and improvement, continuing legal education and otherwise learning how to improve your professional knowledge and skills.

  • University Degree and Paralegal license

  • Unquestionable honesty and integrity, decision making skills, and creativity. Earns a high level of trust.
  • Bilingual is mandatory (English and French)
