Job descriptionGrade 12 education or equivalent GED. Certificate in WHMIS required, First Aid preferred. Certificate in Traffic Control considered an asset. Possession and maintenance of a valid Saskatchewan Class 5 license required; must obtain a valid Class 3A license within the first six months of employment. Hand signal training required. No previous municipal experience required. Minimum of 16 total hours operating one of the following : excavator, grader, compactor, loader or skid steer required.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Operates equipment to remove sand, litter and trash.
- Operates equipment to remove snow from streets, parking lots and other areas.
- Operates sewer maintenance equipment to maintain and repair sewer systems.
- Operates trucks equipped with apparatuses for spreading sand, salt or abrasives on roadways.
- Performs general equipment operation and maintenance.
- Maintains vehicle and equipment maintenance logs.
- Performs other duties as required.
