Job description

Calling all Operations supervisors in the Hamailton area! Do you enjoy working with people and building relationships? Advantages

Great salary between $115,000 - $139,000

Responsibilities

Manages inventory of various divisions

Ensures compliance with the allocated budgets

Assists in procuring equipment, tools, and consumables

Implements the fleet maintenance program

Ensures compliance with quality, health, safety and environmental policies

Implements corrective actions and measures as needed

Serves as the first point of contact for health, safety, and environmental situations

Performs daily health, safety, and environmental tasks

Participates in internal and external audits

Maintains a strong field presence to foster a positive working atmosphere and directly supervises employees

Manages onboarding, integration, and training follow-ups for employees

Oversees time management, payroll, leave approvals, and absences

Participates in workforce planning and administers disciplinary committees

Qualifications

You have a minimum 4 years' experience within operations leadership (any industry)

You have a strong attention to detail

You have a passion for people and building relationships with your team

Experience working within a unionized environment is critical

Strong communication skills

You are physically able to be on your feet for long periods of time (80% of your day will be mobile)

You can work autonomously, great organization skills and have a strong commitment to excellence
