Are you a proactive professional who thrives at the intersection of physical operations and digital logistics? We are seeking a high-caliber Logistics & Inventory Specialist to serve as the strategic backbone of our daily operations. In this role, you aren’t just moving material; you are the vital link in our supply chain, ensuring every high-value asset is handled with precision, safety, and professional care.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Material Handling & Yard Operations
Heavy Equipment Mastery: Safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts, including specialized 30' tubular handling.

Intake & Organization: Manage incoming raw bar stock and unload transport trucks in an outdoor facility environment.

Shop Stewardship: Organize yard and shop stock; manage waste by emptying chip hoppers into designated containers.

2. Shipping & Global Logistics
Professional Packaging: Secure finished products using metal/fabric banding and professional-grade shrink-wrapping.

Seamless Documentation: Prepare delivery tickets, close out work orders, and ensure all shipping documents are accurate.

International Freight: Manage commercial invoices for global shipments and coordinate directly with 3rd-party vendors.

3. Inventory Control & Technical Support
Digital Accuracy: Perform visual inspections of incoming tools and POs, entering all data precisely into our ERP system.

BOM Management: Oversee stock issuance according to the Bill of Materials (BOM).

Skill Expansion: Cross-train on essential shop equipment, including industrial saws and shot peen machines.

Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using ERP systems for data entry and inventory tracking.

Detail-Oriented: A sharp eye for inspecting materials and managing complex shipping documents.

Advantages
seeking a detail-oriented Logistics & Inventory Specialist to join our team for a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. This multifaceted role involves operating forklifts and overhead cranes to manage 30' tubular stock, alongside essential administrative duties within our SAP Beas ERP system.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities

• Operation of forklift, including pallets and 30' tubular and overhead crane operations.

• Responsibilities include material handling with pallet jacks and forklifts.

• Strapping with metal and fabric banding finish product onto pallets for shipping.

• Shrink wrapping pallets and attaching delivery notes to pallets prior to shipping.

• Loading and unloading trucks with forklift outside facility.

• Receiving raw bar stock.

• Managing and organizing stock material in yard and shop.

• Empty chip hoppers as required into the proper container.

• Learn how to run basic machine shop equipment such as a saw and shot peen machine.

• Inventory Control (receiving ,managing and issue to BOM)

• Receive customer supplied tools , visual inspection and entering in ERP system

• Receiving Purchase orders.

• Closing Work orders and preparing delivery ticket and shipping documents.

• Managing shipping / receiving 3rd party venders.

• Commercial invoices for international freights.

• Misc. housekeeping and safety duties.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 2+ years production experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.

• SAP Beas ERP system knowledge is an asset

• Prior experience in forklift, overhead crane operations and material handling experience preferred.

• Knowledge of various manufacturing process equipment, overhead cranes, power hand tools preferred.

• Ability to maintain primary job duties with little supervision.

• Requires good verbal and written communication skills, knowledge of basic computer skills,and have the ability to perform work in accordance with established safety procedures and standard operating procedures.

• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

Experience: 2+ years of production experience in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred.

Technical Skills: Prior experience with forklifts, overhead cranes, and power hand tools.

ERP Knowledge: Familiarity with SAP Beas ERP systems is considered a significant asset.

Soft Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with basic computer literacy.

Self-Management: Ability to maintain primary duties with minimal supervision while adhering to all safety and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Physical/Schedule: Flexibility to work overtime as needed and ability to perform physical tasks in a shop/yard environment.

Pre-employment: Must be able to pass a standard drug test.
