Job descriptionLeading the entire lifecycle of marketing projects and campaigns, from inception to execution. Assisting with social media efforts, including content creation, proofreading, and editing as needed. Directly supervising, training, and mentoring the Marketing team. Overseeing all branding and packaging efforts, from initial artwork to final printing. Managing the development, concept, and implementation of both in-house and external design work. Overseeing website maintenance and updates. Registering trademarks and logos. Managing provincial liquor board listings. Representing with external partners and key accounts. Overseeing public relations efforts, including press relations and the approval of newsletters, press releases, and blogs. Ensuring brand consistency for both existing and new products, internally and externally. Providing marketing support for signage and merchandise design. Collaborating with other managers on product planning and launches. Assisting in the coordination and planning of Sales conferences. Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Design, or a related field. Over 5 years of marketing experience. 3+ years of Managing a team Experience in marketing / design within the craft beer, alcoholic beverage, or consumer packaged goods sectors is highly valued. Proven track record in executing marketing and promotional campaigns. Hands-on graphic design experience is a significant advantage. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on proofreading, grammar, and content creation. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite. Self-driven, proactive, and capable of working independently. Must have experience in content creation and editing for WordPress and social media platforms. Solid understanding of SEO and targeted marketing. Genuine interest in the craft beer industry is essential. Jackson Stewart of Lock Search Group has been tasked with finding our clients next Marketing Manager. They are seeking a marketing professional with the ability to manage their product lines. This individual will play a crucial role in developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives.
The Ideal candidate will be a great communicator with strong skills in website maintenance, SEO, and social media campaign management. The ideal candidate is a seasoned leader, passionate about mentoring and providing hands-on support to their team. A relevant post-secondary education and a minimum of five years of marketing experience are required.
