Job descriptionMaster’s degree in Engineering (MSc) and / or MBA strongly preferred. Must have Private Equity experience. Must have Management Consulting experience. Must have prior experience as VP of Operations (or equivalent senior operations leadership role) within the oil & gas, mining, or broader energy sector .

About the Opportunity : Our client, a Toronto-based Private Equity firm, is seeking an accomplished Operating principle - with a proven track record of success in Oil / Gas / Mining. This is a unique opportunity for a strategic and hands‑on operations leader to drive growth, operational excellence, and organizational transformation within a rapidly evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead operational strategy, performance optimization, and large-scale transformation initiatives across the organization.
- Partner closely with the PE firm to support value creation plans and accelerate business growth.
- Oversee end-to-end operations in alignment with the company’s long-term strategic objectives.
- Implement operational frameworks, performance metrics, and governance models to support scalability.
