  • The Institute for Urban Indigenous Health Ltd was established by its founding members to provide a coordinated / integrated approach to the planning, development and delivery of comprehensive primary health care services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations within the Southeast Qld Region.Deadly Choices is widely acknowledged as a leading-edge health promotion, education, and preventative health initiative of the Institute for Urban Indigenous Health (IUIH).In partnership with local Community Controlled Health Services (CCHS), Deadly Choices delivers initiatives that inspire Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to make healthier lifestyle choices and take control of their health and wellbeing by promoting regular access to CCHS and completing annual an ‘Health Check’.The Deadly Choices Partnerships Coordinator plays a vital role in achieving the aims and strategic goals of Deadly Choices through the ongoing management of community and corporate partnerships and licences.As a Partnerships Coordinator you will be required to work closely with internal and external stakeholders, building and maintaining strong relationships, and maximising opportunities to expand and strengthen community and corporate partnerships.
  • Your day to day duties include :
  • Build, strengthen and maintain positive relationships with sport, corporate and community partners to facilitate collaborative and mutually beneficial partnerships
  • Lead the planning, organising and facilitating of partnership activations, competitions and campaigns in collaboration with the Partnerships team
  • Work with the communications team to facilitate the promotion Deadly Choices messaging through existing partnership activities and benefits.
  • Provide and lead innovative and appropriate Account Management of Deadly Choices Licensees
  • Build, strengthen and maintain strong relationships with Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations
  • Current C Class Drivers Licence (Qld)
  • Criminal History Check or willingness to obtain
  • Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
  • Desirable, but not mandatory :
  • Demonstrated experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and / or communities
