Knowledge of the requirements of the Nursing Home Act and Regulations, the appropriate sections of the Health Disciplines Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act, Pharmacy Act, Food & Drug Act.

We are now hiring Registered Practical Nurses (RPN) for senior living homes in Georgetown, Ontario. Our client provides a competitive compensation package! Current certificate of registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario (RPN) and be able to provide a copy of the nursing license to indicate good standing.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Utilize sound nursing practice principles and provide nursing care in accordance with policy, physician's orders, and the resident plan of care.
- Identify the needs of residents and develop and maintain appropriate care plans.
- Ensure a timely and accessible admission for the residents.
- Ensure the supply, control, and safe keeping of drugs and narcotics, ensuring protocols are followed on all assigned shifts.
