Service / Maintenance Plumber Job Description

Full-time, Permanent

Pay : $50.00-$60.00 per hour PLUS SEMI-ANNUAL BONUS!

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Service / Maintenance Plumber to join our client's team, performing maintenance and repair work on high-rise residential, commercial, and mixed-use towers across the Vancouver Lower Mainland. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of plumbing experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Must Haves

High-rise building, boiler, electrical, or controls experience
Red seal ticket
Class B Gas ticket
5+ years experience as an indentured Plumber
Valid Class 5 driver’s license

Nice to Haves

Able to act as the lead technician to shut down and complete repairs in high-rise buildings (20+ storeys) with 4 pipe systems (heating and cooling)
Backflow ticket with knowledge on testing and repairing backflows
Class A Gas ticket

Responsibilities

Perform service and maintenance work on high-rise residential, commercial, and mixed-use towers
Troubleshoot, repair, and install toilets, kitchen sinks (including undermount), drainage, faucets, shower cartridges, dishwashers, basic 40 gal HWTs (gas and electric), commercial flush valves
Source and clamp water leaks
Replace smaller residential PRVs
Rough-in bathroom groups with correct venting
Repair and replace relief valves on boilers, HWTs, and storage tanks
Perform drain cleaning / unclogging using K-50, K-60, K-1500, and hydro jetters
Conduct camera scoping and locating
Rebuild hose bibbs, and pull and reset toilets and tubs
Solder up to 2” and use propress tools with XL jaws
Basic water piping skills
